We did the cooking demonstration at Zero George and had a wonderful experience. Chef Vinson Petrillo is clearly passionate about food and creating an experience for guests. We really enjoyed watching his craft and most importantly the food was delicious. My only critique is that the portions were small and there were not 'wine pairings' you were just handed a bottle of wine. Other than that one very small critique we cannot wait to return to try the full course tasting menu at Zero George.

The ambiance is superb and my dinner was one of the best meals I have had. Sophisticated and chic with elegance of historical Charleston as the backdrop. The night I went was a set menu with drinks or mock tails. Believe me the mock tails were in some cases better than the set alcohol drinks. The executive chef is a master of his craft & I wish I lived closer so I could experience the food more often.

Just phenomenal. This review won't do our experience justice. We were given reservations to a tasting dinner as a wedding gift, and my skeptical husband was completely won over. The space was intimate and lovely, the staff was friendly, professional and knowledgable, and the menu was inventive and delicious. Just outstanding.

Superb and innovative. The medley of starters was such a fun, clever way to start the meal. Extremely polished team service. Great experience.

If I could give this restaurant 6 stars I would! The entire experience was incredible. The moment we walked in, we were greeted by a host who kindly brought us to our table and the superior service continued through the whole dinner. Every waiter/ host was sweet and attentive. Our sommelier was incredibly knowledgeable and made our experience fun while we learned about the wine and the bourbon barrel downstairs! The food was out of this world. After just eating at a 3 Michelin star restaurant in London and a 2 Michelin star restaurant in Brussels, I would say Zero George is on par. Every dish was flavorful and delicious; I did not want the experience to end. We were celebrating my brother’s birthday and the chef kindly signed a menu and brought it out to us. I grew up in Charleston, and know we have delicious food in the area, but Zero George is hands down one of the best experiences I have ever had!

Definitely five star restaurant. Food is so good and service so attentive. It was rainy night, we had great time. Fixed menu, 145 each person, my ten year old daughter enjoyed it. She ordered herself caviar, it was good.

I have been to many tasting menus here in Charleston as well as a Michelin star tasting menu in Denver, CO, and this was by far the best tasting menu experience I have had thus far. The snacks in the beginning were a fun and unique way to get your pallet going. The courses were each packed of flavor with so much attention to detail. The portions were very favorable and the wine paring was the cherry on top. I am ready to go back ASAP and want the same menu, but understand and trust that their menus change and the next time I visit will be just as good. I 10000% recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing night out. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, exceptional service. Most definitely a 5 star restaurant.

We had the privilege of experiencing zero last night and it absolutely exceeded our expectations. An unforgettable night with incredible food, atmosphere, and level of service. This is the best fine dining restaurant in Charleston, period.
